Competence Systems
The Pathways approach to constructing the systems for competence management is:
Flexible:- Matching the system to a particular organisation (model, grading scales, link to the HR processes, etc.) - to its business strategy and culture.
- Description of both "soft" and "specialised" competences
- Cooperation with HR departments - leaving as much knowledge as possible within an organisation
- Possibility to submit an IT solution for competence evaluation
Holistic:- Description of HR processes (recruitment and selection, evaluation and development, remunerations, dismissals) on the basis of competences; competences as the common surface for HR processes.
-Communication in an organisation that includes employees in the creation and verification of the system.
-Cooperation with management staff as advocating changes in an organisation
